Gnocchi with Arrabbiata Sauce
1 Tin whole peeled tomatoes
1 Tbls tomato paste
1 medium onion finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1/3 teaspoon Chilli Bomb Rosso UNO
Salt and Pepper to taste
Add the Chilli Bomb Rosso Uno and fry for 1-2 minutes
Add salt and then add in the whole peeled tomatoes, crushing them to the side to break them up (do not blend)
Add in the tomato paste and 1/2 cup of boiling water
Leave to simmer until gnocchi are prepared, stirring gently from time to time.
Preparing the gnocchi (only start this procedure once sauce is simmering:
Bring water to boil, add a pinch of salt,
At this point, turn off the sauce and leave the lid on it!
Once boiling add in the gnocchi and boil until they rise to the top
Drop into a colander, shake off and immediately add the gnocchi to the sauce.
Best served hot with a drizzle of Parmesan cheese and a crush of black pepper.
